Lucy Shalders is a Director, Writer and self-shooter based in London.

 

She trained at Central St Martins and Pratt Institute, where she was a Presidential Scholar.

​

Her first directorial debut, Raising Agatha, was shot in Long Island, New York, and earned accolades including the Silver Award at the Independent Shorts Awards, Semi-Finalist at the Los Angeles Film Awards, and selection for the Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival.

​

The One and Only Fan, a short comedy film about the business of OnlyFans, premiered in summer 2025 at Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival and stars Sam Clemmett and Freddie Dennis (Bridgerton). The film is also set to screen at the BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival in November 2025.

Lucy is now in pre-production on her next comedy short, Flight, a sharp, character-driven satire exploring modern relationships at 30,000 feet.

Alongside her film work, Lucy has built a career in television, working as a Showrunner’s Assistant for the past five years, most recently on A24’s The Spot.
